This article describes what you will do should you decide that you would like your domain to be registered through NetMinistry.
A domain transfer is the process of transferring a domain name from one registrar to another. Many people that use our system find it easier to have all of their fees for their website coming from one place, and opt to allow us to manage their domain for them. If your domain is registered through us you will still have complete control over it, but we will update any settings that you wish to change for you free of charge.
Transferring your domain will require you to have the domain unlocked and provide us with a transfer authorization code, also known as an EPP key. Once the transfer is initiated, the contact listed as the domain registrant will receive a verification e-mail. It is very important to know where this e-mail will be sent because if it is ignored the transfer will fail and fees for a second attempt may apply. If you would like to transfer a domain to be registered through NetMinistry, please contact our support department.
