Program Features :: Custom Design & Layout
The NetMinistry Website Platform comes with complete custom and design and layout services provided by our staff and partners. This insures that
you have a website of the highest quality possible. Our experienced template design staff will use the information that you provide to
create a concept and allow you the ability to refine it into what you have always wanted.
Step 1: Fill Out the Project Worksheet
When you order your website, you will be instructed to provide information about how you want your website to look and feel. You can provide
description, examples of other websites you like, as well as personal notes to our designer to insure that we fully understand what you want.
It is important in this step to be as descriptive as possible in order for our artists to get it right the first time, so we organize all of your
information into a project worksheet.
Step 2: Receive Draft Template By E-mail
Our artists will create a website template design based on the information that you provide. This is the "first guess" at a website look, and
will require your guidance after it is sent to you. You may reject the design, ask for adjustments, or approve the design at this phase. If
you do not accept the design, we will ask for more details about what you are looking for in order to move closer to an approved design.
Step 3: Send Us Your Changes
If you request modifications of your design, our artists will make those changes and send you another version of the design. You may approve
the design at this time, or request additional changes. You may request additional changes up to 3 times within the scope of our setup fees.
Further revisions are available for a small fee to cover additional time. The template revision process gives you the opportunity to provide feedback
to our artist and insures that your design will be completed your way.
Step 4: Approve the Design Template
If you are satisfied with the design that you have received, you may send an approval e-mail to your artist. This concludes your template design
process and prompts the artist to send your design to our layout department. The design process is the easiest part of creating your website, since
it only relies on creating something that is pleasing to the eye. The more clearly you can envision the look, feel, colors, and branding in your
design, the easier and faster this process moves.
Step 5: Publish Your Template
Finally, within 3-5 business days, your design will be spliced into HTML and formatted for use on your website. At that point, your menus will also be
created along with your custom pages and special applications. Your site is now ready for your content (information and pictures) to be added. This "skeleton"
design now makes it easy for you to know what colors and styles to use when adding information and web-based systems to your site.
We work with you at every step to insure that the website looks and feels the way you are envisioning. The more you know about what you want,
the faster the processes will go and the happier you will be with your website. If you don't know exactly what you want, be prepared to spend a
little more time (and possibly a little more money) than expected.
